Our Katie in the meadow.
Trareoch and Trareoch Lodge are nestled in a coastal mix of sea and beach, wildlife and wilderness. Secluded and quiet, the views of the everchanging seascape, the play between sun, sand, sky, rock and bird, play a big part in staying here.
Spend some time out in the meadow and you are surrounded by wildlife; grasshoppers, frogs and butterflies in the wild grasses. Sea birds and more live in the bay, eiders cooing in spring, oyster catchers, shell ducks, divers, kestrels, ravens and more thrive nearby. Keep an eye out on the beach for otters, they feed regularly in front of the house.
Swim in the bay and you will be alongside them all, snorkel and you will be amazed! Pollock, wrasse, small flatfish, butterfish and crabs as well as common seal are easy to see.
Make sure to bring a camera………
